Project Overview

An installation of a 2,000-square-foot dog breeding park on the Golden Sunset Farms property, situated adjacent to a barn housing three horses, three goats, and three dogs. The project delivers an immediate, durable play area for active animals.

Materials & Technology

This project utilized SealTuft Pet-Friendly Turf, a premium synthetic grass solution offered by [[page-3192339|Grass!365 Boston]]. Key features include:

• Shorter, highly durable fibers engineered for frequent animal activity.
• A specialized weeping system ensuring fast drainage across the entire surface.
• Fiber design optimized to dissipate odors.

Installation Process

1. Perimeter Securing: Nailer boards were anchored around the base perimeter.
2. Adhesive Application: A water-cured glue adhesive secured the SealTuft backing to the nailer boards and sealed the turf seams.
3. Infill & Dressing: Handled by applying approximately 3 lbs of sand per square foot, followed by a power broom treatment to stand the fibers upright.
