Here in Savannah and throughout the Lowcountry, managing pets on artificial turf is made easier by our region’s regular rainfall, which helps control odors when the turf is properly installed. With daily cleanup, our SealTuft turf, boasting a drainage rate of over 1,000 inches per hour, minimizes maintenance related to smells. The durability of the turf and quality of installation are also key factors.

Drainage and Odors:

• The effectiveness of drainage and odor control systems varies with the size of the area and the number of pets using it. For commercial setups like veterinary clinics, kennels, and dog daycares, we offer various types of turf, drainage systems, and infills.

Drain Tiles:

• Despite the high drainage rate of SealTuft turf, commercial facilities that frequently clean their turf benefit from horizontal flow beneath the surface. In smaller areas with many dogs, drain tiles for horizontal drainage are essential.

Infill:

• Grass!365 provides zeolite and antimicrobial infills to tackle odor issues. Different pets present unique challenges, and using the right infill can significantly help.

Additional Solutions:

• There are other methods to manage both drainage and odors, and we’re eager to assist in designing the best system for your specific needs.

Turf Options:

• We offer choices from aesthetically pleasing monofilament yarns for lawn-like appearances to more durable slit film yarns, which might not look as nice but withstand heavy use. The turf’s color can also be selected to match the warm season grasses typical in Savannah.

Custom Solutions:

• With years of experience, chances are we’ve faced a situation similar to yours. We’re excited to help you find the perfect solution for your property.
